This Juvenile Bald Eagle was perching up in one of the pine trees on the West end of Pensacola Beach Florida near Fort Pickens. Be safe!
On the way out early this morning (4/13/21) to cover the Blue Angels practice session on the West end of Pensacola Beach Florida near Fort Pickens I came across this Bald Eagle. I have been photographing Ospreys for years near Fort Pickens and this is the first time I have photographed a Bald Eagle. I actually stopped the SUV on the road, grabbed my camera and got the shot. The Eagle was just chilling out on one of the sand-dunes. This is where is pays to have your camera ready to go at all times.
